Everything you need to get the most out of your accessibility widget.
About This Guide
This guide covers every section of the AccessPro Accessibility dashboard — from widget configuration to analytics, plans, and support. If you haven't installed the app yet, follow the Installation Guide first.
After installing AccessPro Accessibility from the BigCommerce App Marketplace, you can access the dashboard any time via Apps → My Apps → AccessPro Accessibility in your BigCommerce control panel.
Quick Status Check
The Home tab shows your current plan, remaining store visits for the billing period, and whether the accessibility script is enabled on your storefront.
The Widget Settings tab is where you configure how the accessibility widget appears on your storefront and enable or disable it entirely.
Use the Enable Accessibility Script toggle at the top of Widget Settings to turn the widget on or off for your storefront. Changes take effect immediately — no theme republish required.
Enable or disable individual accessibility features that appear in the widget panel. The app ships with 40+ built-in features including:
Live Preview
All widget setting changes save instantly. Open your storefront in a separate tab to preview the result in real time without any additional publish step.
The Menu Settings tab lets you control exactly which accessibility tools your customers see inside the widget panel, and in what order.
Drag any menu item up or down to change its position in the widget panel. Items at the top of the list appear first when customers open the widget.
Each menu item has a visibility toggle. Disabled items are completely hidden from your customers — they remain configured in the dashboard and can be re-enabled at any time.
Menu Settings changes are saved immediately and reflected on your live storefront within seconds. No refresh of the store page is needed by you — customers will see the updated menu on their next widget open.
The Analytics tab gives you visibility into how your customers are using the accessibility widget. Data starts populating as soon as the widget receives its first interaction — allow up to 24 hours after install for initial data to appear.
The bar chart on the Analytics page shows activation counts for every individual accessibility feature. Use this to understand which tools matter most to your audience and prioritise them in Menu Settings.
Use the date picker to view analytics over a custom period. The default view shows the last 30 days. You can also switch between daily, weekly, and monthly breakdowns using the chart toggle.
Pro Tip
If a feature has zero usage over an extended period, consider hiding it in Menu Settings to keep the widget panel clean and focused for your customers.
AccessPro Accessibility is free to start. Each plan includes 40+ accessibility features. Store visits are counted per user session per billing period. Upgrade or downgrade at any time from the Plans tab — changes take effect immediately.
What counts as a store visit?
A store visit is counted once per unique user session on your storefront. Multiple page views within the same session count as a single visit. The counter resets at the start of each billing period.

AccessPro Accessibility is built to support WCAG 2.1 (Web Content Accessibility Guidelines) at levels A and AA. The widget helps your store become more accessible to users with visual, auditory, motor, and cognitive disabilities.
Basic, Standard, and Pro plan subscribers receive a compliance statement they can display on their storefront. This statement communicates your store's commitment to accessibility to customers and stakeholders.
While AccessPro Accessibility significantly improves your store's accessibility, using the app does not automatically guarantee full legal compliance with ADA, Section 508, EAA, or any other accessibility regulation. We recommend pairing the widget with manual accessibility audits for your specific store content.
For questions about accessibility compliance specific to your jurisdiction, consult a qualified accessibility specialist or legal professional.
